“Propaganda” ~ A collaborative exhibition series with Jason Ellis
The theme of this series is “Chinese Political Posters”, and consists of twelve works, each depicting a nude model (six male and six female), to which posters from a specific period in Chinese cultural history are digitally grafted onto the modelʼs bodies.
The nude model is symbolic to neutral prejudice; a blank sheet of paper, influenced only by the images and slogans depicted within the posters, to which he/she is/has been subjected.
The full series is currently in the process of production, but once completed, will be exhibited internationally.

A new animated artwork in the art-nude genre, from award winning and internationally acclaimed photographic artist, Thomas Hodges.
This is the first time to date that Thomas has produced a photographic animation from an artwork series. This series was specially shot with this project in mind, and is perhaps the beginning of several other video animations based on his primary fields of specialisation, i.e. the art-nude and erotic-nude genres.

London International Creative Competition (LICC) 2009 Winner - by Thomas Hodges
2009 is the first year that I have entered the LICC and I am delighted at having won an Honourable Mention in the competition for my exhibition series entitled "Wrapped". LICC is a competition for all media, and as a result is particularly difficult to win recognition, particularly for a photographic artist. - Born in London, England, Thomas has lived and travelled extensively throughout Europe, East and South East Asia. However, he currently resides between Taiwan and Italy. As an artist, Thomas is best known for his figurative works, depicting female sexuality and sensuality. Thomas has a unique artistic style, which he terms "Imaginistic", leaving the onlooker to deduct the ultimate conclusion of what his images portray. In December 2006, Thomas established the Art Movement "Imaginism", to accommodate his own imagery, and in compliment to the poetic movement of the same name. Thomas also works as a Curator, Art Journalist and Educator.
