Awareness in Manhattan exhibits in The London Underground - by Thomas Hodges
From the 23rd April one of the images from my book and exhibition series "Awareness in Manhattan" will be exhibiting in The London Underground for a period of 2 weeks.
This event is organised by Art Below, who are based in London. In the coming months, I will also be exhibiting artworks in the Metro systems of both Berlin and Tokyo.

Nominee Award Winner in the 3rd Annual Photography Masters Cup - by Thomas Hodges
On the 22nd March, the results of the 3rd Annual Photography Masters Cup were announced, and I'm delighted to announce that I have won a "Nominee Award" in the abstract entry entitled "Pegged".
Having won Nominee Awards in both 2006 and 2007, I am naturally pleased to win a further award in this, the 2008 competition.

Featured in USA Playboy April Edition - by Thomas Hodges
There of my images from the series "Topless (Awareness) in Manhattan" are featured in the April 2009 edition of USA Playboy (page 120). To view the page full size click HERE.
The series was shot in November 2008 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, and features Taiwanese Top-Model CC Wang.
12 images from the series will be exhibited for the first time later this year, initially in New York City and subsequently internationally. 5 examples of each of the 12 images will be produced as large format Limited Edition Artworks, with 50% of all sales proceeds being donated to Breast Cancer Research.
The entire series comprising more than 150 images, will be produced as a book publication later this year, and once again, 50% of all sales will go to Breast Cancer Research.

- Born in London, England, Thomas has lived and travelled extensively throughout Europe, East and South East Asia. However, he currently resides between Taiwan and Italy. As an artist, Thomas is best known for his figurative works, depicting female sexuality and sensuality. Thomas has a unique artistic style, which he terms "Imaginistic", leaving the onlooker to deduct the ultimate conclusion of what his images portray. In December 2006, Thomas established the Art Movement "Imaginism", to accommodate his own imagery, and in compliment to the poetic movement of the same name. Thomas also works as a Curator, Art Journalist and Educator.
